Beach - Day 2

Our first full day at the beach was great. We were all up by 7:30 and walked to our favorite breakfast place for a buffet breakfast. We headed back to the condo after breakfast an got ready for the beach. The big girls loved every minute and Brooke gets more confident in the water the more she is out there. Anna Grace had a great time as well. She loved standing in the water. She played in the sand too.

Around 11, Anna and I return to the condo for lunch and a nap. The others were in shortly after us as the rain was back. After lunch, the two big girls also fell asleep. We all got back up around 3 and headed to the pool.

We headed back to the condo around 5 for dinner. Trey grilled hamburgers. We are cooking most of our meals this year. After dinner, we went for a walk on the pier. Then we got some ice cream.

Anna Grace went to bed around 8. Trey took Brooke and Audrey back to the beach to so sparklers. We let the girls stay up until 10.

Beach vacation day one

We manage to spend about 10 minutes on the beach. We arrived around 3 pm during a bad thunderstorm. We unpacked and has a few minutes of downtime before starting dinner. We are eating in most nights and had spaghetti tonight. After dinner, we went down on the beach but could see another storm headed our way. We let the girls play for a few minutes. Anna is a little unsure of the water, but loves the sand. Hopefully, we will have better weather the rest of the week.

Brooke

Brooke asked if she could write her name in her bible tonight. I said yes and was very impressed with how far she has come with her handwriting the last few months.

Chick-Fil-A Princess Night

Tonight was princess night at Chick-Fil-A. The girls were excited and Brooke couldn't wait to see the princess cow. Anna loves the Chick-Fil-a cow too.

First ponytail

Anna finally has enough hair for a little ponytail on top.

Barbie Jeep

We found this at a yard sale a few weeks ago.

The battery does not work, so we will need to buy a new battery. But the girls love sitting in it and pushing the buttons to play the music.
