Disney World Day 3 - Epcot

On day 3 of our trip after much debate, we decided to visit Epcot.  My conference sessions would be ending by 3:30 on Friday, so Trey decided to keep the girls at the hotel that morning.  The hotel had a great pool and little water park. I got to visit with them during one of my breaks.  They were having so much fun.  After playing at the pool for a couple of hours, Trey took the girls to Chick-fil-a for lunch and then they took naps.

I ended up getting out of the conference around 2:30 and we left for Epcot soon after. We originally did not plan on going to Epcot this trip. We were unsure if there would be enough for the girls to do. We considered going to Animal Kingdom on this day, but they were closing at 7pm. We also considered another Magic Kingdom visit, but ultimately decided this would be a good time to check out Epcot.

This was probably the hottest day of our trip. So we were all a little irritable. Trey saw that Mulan was going to be in the China area and immediately headed that way when we got there. I prefer to take my time in the parks and check things out as we pass them, but Trey was determined to get the girls back there. Once we got there, we had to wait a few minutes in the hot sun. The girls finally got to meet Mulan and take a picture.

We realized quickly that there probably wasn't going to be a whole lot of things for the girls to do. We decided to head back to Future World and catch the Nemo ride. We all enjoyed this ride a lot. They also have an aquarium that you can go through after the ride. After Nemo, it was time to go see if we could make it in time to meet Jasmine.

We headed back to the World Showcase. As we were walking through France, we saw Belle heading to her meet and greet spot. Trey asked if we could get a picture with her. She said yes, but we need to go with her to the water. She then asked if the girls would like to escort her and hold her hand. That was definitely one of the best moments of the trip.

We then headed to see Jasmine, but she had already left her spot. Time to try and find dinner. I suggested that we go to the America Showcase and find a place to eat there. We ate at Liberty Inn. It was good and we all enjoyed our food.

We went in a few gift shops and the coke tasting place. We also did one of the Kidcot things, but the girls didn't get too into it. It was around 8pm and we just decided to call it a night and not even stay for the fireworks.
